Health, Safety and Environment Manager

A Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and a lead environmental auditor.

Attracted, some 25 years ago, to a career in health, safety and environmental management, Jean’s interest was founded in the technical side of ceramics, particularly in the development of frits and pigments. This presented the opportunity to influence change with active involvement in elimination, substitution and waste reduction programmes, particularly in her current role at Bostik, a household name and brand leader in adhesives and sealants. Bostik have enjoyed the benefits of ISO 14001 since 2000, where the system has become highly valued and well integrated.

Current President of the North Staffs Health and Safety Group, in her spare time Jean is a prolific artist producing large scale, vibrant abstracts.
