Group Health, Safety & Environmental Manager. Also SBEN Vice Chairman

Staffordshire born and bred. He has always had a keen interest in wildlife and the environment. He commenced work at Johnson Matthey, Cresswell Works back in 1980, where he was employed as an Environmental Technician. In 1988 he became head of their Environmental Services Dept. responsible for three sites and 850 employees within Stoke-On-Trent. In November 1990 he moved jobs to Wedgwood, where he has held the position of Group HSE Manager ever since. For his sins he is also Chairman of Shraff Management Ltd and previously a Board member of Groundwork Stoke-On-Trent. In his spare time he enjoys walking, trout fishing, golf and keep fit. In 1986 he gained his black belt in Uechi Ryu karate – don’t mess with this guy!
