Low Carbon Industry Sector Support Officer

After graduating as a Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineer (Beng Hons) from Glamorgan University, Sebastien moved into Computer Aided Engineering in Stafford (MSc). He was then employed by Staffordshire University as a researcher in the ‘Use of Virtual Reality for Virtual Prototyping’ in the Tableware Industry. He was also awarded with an MPhil for the research undertaken. He then worked for nearly a decade at the Hothouse Centre for Ceramic Design in Longton to facilitate the adoption and deployment of new technologies such CAD/CAM, Rapid Prototyping, and Computer Graphics in the Ceramic Industry.

Since April 2010, Sebastien is now working for the Enterprise and Skills department of Stoke-on-Trent City Council to tackle the opportunities present in the Low Carbon Economy.
