PEM+

adopts the BS 8555 phased approach to introducing environmental
management into a company. The training enables the
delegate to develop, implement
and maintain an environmental management system (EMS)
that meets your company needs. There are six
phases to BS 8555, each of which can be individually
verified by a United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS)
accredited verification body, leading finally to either
ISO 14001 or EMAS certification.
course format
There are five main elements to the course, made relevant
by local speakers with “sharp end” experience,
combining project work, workshops and classroom sessions.
Progress on the course is monitored by portfolio
assessments and a 1 hour examination.
