Event Details:

This year's keynote speaker was Peter Laybourn from NISP.  Peter’s presentation highlighted the successes of industrial symbiosis in reducing costs, providing opportunities and contributing to a low carbon economy.

Steve Bowler from Areva T&D UK Ltd was re-elected on to the Management Team.

For the fourth year running, WWRD UK Ltd kindly donated an engraved plate, as this years SOC award (SBEN’s Outstanding Contribution).  This was presented by Janet Bailey to John Barraclough, from JB Enviro. John has been involved with SBEN for a considerable number of years, having previously worked in the private sector industry.  John has also worked with Groundwork Stoke-on-Trent, Envirowise and Business Link.  His present business provides environmental consultancy.
