"Excellent presenters" and "this was a really first class event and very worthwhile" were just two of the comments from the very impressed delegates.

The seminar started off with a fascinating presentation on Safer Driver Training, by Adrian Hide (Road Safety Manager, Staffordshire County Council). As one of the delegates commented, "I found the presentation on Safer Driver Training particularly useful and the section on Corporate Manslaughter will really open my MD's eyes!"
More information about how the Corporate Manslaughter Act can affect work related journeys, can be found on the HSE website
Adrian also mentioned a FREE toolkit on Managing Work Related Journeys. This includes a set of guidelines, templates that can be personalised and lots of advise. To request a copy, please contact either:
Adrian can also arrange corporate driver training programmes, built around individual companies needs.
The second speaker,Peter Ulleri from 2050 Logistics, was called away to Beijing on business. Fortunately for us, Dave Chesters (Track Training Services UK Ltd) came to the rescue and gave a brilliant presentation on 'How to save costs and help the environment through fewer and friendlier miles'. Peter and Dave originally met through SBEN and as they share many aims and objectives, Peter asked Dave to stand in for him. Scoring a very impressive 94% for Quality of Speaker, Dave certainly did an excellent job. An example of networking at it's best!

Breakfast is served!
