This was a huge success and we're delighted to report that Judith Smith from Finning UK Ltd was re-elected on to the Management Team.

Andrew Jago, Brand Manager, Toyota (GB) Ltd, was this years keynote speaker.  Andrews presentation covered how fiscal policy is encouraging businesses to operate cleaner cars and the challenges faced by the motor industry as alternatives to the internal combustion engine are introduced to the market. This was much appreciated by the delegates, which is reflected in the feedback scores and comments:

Each year a SOC Award  is presented by Janet Bailey (SBEN Chair), to one of our members who has made an outstanding contribution to the network  - hence the name, SOC - SBEN’s Outstanding Contribution.  This years winner was James Dennison (pictured) from East Staffordshire Borough Council , previously from Groundwork West Midlands.  James has given unstinting support to SBEN over a considerable number of years, introducing funding opportunities and collaborations with Groundwork on many previous occasions.
