Improving Your Resource Efficiency No 2

This was a repeat of the event held on 25th March and was yet again an excellent event, with an Overall Satisfaction score of 91%.

Presentations were given by:

Mark Shayler from Eco3, who once again scored a very impressive 97% for his presentation.

In addition, case studies were presented by:

Manel Roura (Environmental Officer) DENSO Manufacturing U.K. Ltd on how the company achieved:

• Zero Landfill in 2 years.
• Significant savings by implementing Resource Efficiency.
• Benefited from the support of several Environmental Programmes (Envirowise, NISP, Green Project)

Stuart Oakey (EHS Manager, Heinz Midlands Factories) who gave a presentation on "Environmental Improvement Through Engagement" and the importance of involving staff at all levels.

The 3rd Improving Your Resource Efficiency event, will be held on 6th July, at Finning (UK) Ltd, Cannock, when delegates will have the opportunity to actually underrtake a water audit - not to be missed!
