SBEN was delighted to be working in partnership with SEQM

"How to help people fall in love with Staffordshire"

Simon Smith from SEQM (Staffordshire Environmental Quality Mark) opened this lively, interactive event, with an insight into what the 'mark' involves and the benefits it will bring.

Emily Whitehead from Simply Staffordshire (the first business to be awarded SEQM), gave a very enthusiastic presentation and her passion for Staffordshire was obvious!

Mark Shayler from Tickety Boo, presented on environmental claims and how they must be credible to consumers and clearly understood.  Defra's website includes a section on Green Claims Guidance, which "looks at a range of tools and resources to help business provide useful and accurate information, which is fair and not misleading".
