Enviro Visit to Manchester United Football Club

What an excellent visit!
In association with Business Link West Midlands

Our thanks to SBEN member, Keith Maloney from Maloney Associates, who organised the event. They have recently developed and facilitated an energy saving programme within Manchester United Football Club, which has resulted in a saving of over 19% on energy use. Manchester United is also the first football club to receive the prestigious Carbon Trust Standard Accreditation.

Following the presentations we were taken to the 'Stands', where we learnt about the underground pitch watering system (see above).
